But I have to disagree about the here and now with you. Yarko is a very nice person, who one day will probably be ready to take on such a challenge, but she is terribly unqualified to even vote on a state budget, let alone debate the merits of it. Her interview on Preston Scott a couple weeks back was painfully embarrasing, especially considering she filed months ago. She could not pronounce her opponents name correctly, and she could not speak to the issue of this community. Kirk is not hard-line conservative on social issues, you are right. But she is bound by a belief in limited government, and she applies that belief across the spectrum, even when it comes to social issues. While I would prefer a pro-lifer like Boulware, I can say that I agree with Kirk on probably 85% of the issues. Unfortunately for Ms. Yarko, regardless of what she believes, she cannot speak competently on 100% of the issues. She couldn't remember whether she voted for or against the Amendment 1 property tax issue! I will take 85% agreement and articulate, but I respect your argument that you'll take the better button pusher...of course, that's assuming she knows where the Capitol is. If the court supports this logic the lawsuit will likely be defeated.
